Welcome Home, Megan!

In a previous generation it was known to fans of My Little Pony as Ponyland, but today it's known as Equestria. And Megan Williams, the human friend and protector of the ponies on the original My Little Pony and Friends TV series of the 1980's, is warmly welcomed back to the pony world by Princess Twilight Sparkle of the current Friendship is Magic series. It's been a long time, and Megan wasn't sure if she would ever see her pony friends again. But thanks to the magic of friendship and of fan art, she's back.

This ink drawing is based on a concept sketch for my final project in an Integrated Communication class at Hawaii Pacific University in December 2015. It was a blue pencil sketch that was inked, scanned and vector-traced in Adobe Flash. Megan's looks and outfit have been updated in the current G4 style based on other DA fan art of a modern Megan in the Equestria Girls world. It will ultimately be colored and cleaned up, including the correct spelling for Megan's name (without the extra "a"--whoops, my bad).
