My Little Pony OC: Granny Dash

Here is a bio sheet and backstory for Granny Dash, a sort-of My Little Pony OC (original character) who is Rainbow Dash's grandmother. I say "sort of" because she has the G3 Dash's colors and cutie mark, Granny Smith's body build, and Scootaloo's mane. So she's not totally original. Nevertheless, she is the grandmare Dashie proudly calls The Awesomest Grandma Ever.

Since she is the G3 Dashie with wings, Granny Dash is something of a stylish pony, but refined with age. At the same time, she has the same panache as her famous granddaughter, who is named after her. They both enjoy a wonderful grandmare-grandfilly relationship, and Gran was Dashie's first hero before she discovered Daring Do and the Wonderbolts.

Granny Dash is also a longtime friend of the Apple family. When Applejack's parents went missing on an apple delivery through Ghastly Gorge, Granny led the search and rescue team to find them... and was the one to break the sad news to Granny Smith that they didn't make it. She comforted AJ, Big Mac and a baby Apple Bloom through their loss, and became like a second grandmare to them. The family affectionately calls her The Flying Apple and consider her an honorary member of the Apple family just like Pinkie Pie.
