First Look: A Gentle Clockwork

After building Clockwork Smurf and Clockwork Smurfette, Handy Smurf designs a second-generation mechanical Smurf with the ability to talk, telescope its limbs, be powered by steam, and of course be ridiculously strong. Vexy, his apprentice in the workshop, builds the power supply and inner mechanisms. At her request, Handy makes it another Clockwork Smurfette. Unable to talk at first because of a malfunction, Vexy quickly programs a cheat code into the robot's dials to override the glitch and allow her to talk, although with a stutter. She likes the sound of the words "Cheat Code" and that becomes her name.

Based on BlueHecate 's OC of the same name, Cheat Code is the Fluttershy of Clockwork Smurfs. "C.C", as Vexy nicknames her, is shy, polite, gentle, sensitive, and at times a little clumsy. She wears eyeglasses because some of the mechanisms for her vision were reprogrammed to enable her to speak, leaving her nearsighted. But C.C. is a sweet, helpful and lovable robot whose seeming defects actually add to her charm and make her more likable. And she is very loving and protective of the Smurfs who built her.

While she is far more advanced than Clockwork Smurf and Smurfette, C.C. is accepted, loved and celebrated by the couple anyway, who see her like a daughter clockwork.
